So, considering it's been more than 6 months since the Principality of Loveshack declared independence from Mt Augusta, considering most Augustans including the newly elected Mayor support the idea of Loveshackian independence, considering we're already taking steps to recognise each other and finally considering everyone's eagerness to finally end the long-winded war between Loveshack and Little Vanier, let's start talking!

The main points the treaty should include:

-The Principality of Loveshack, with mutually agreed borders, will be recognised as a sovereign, independent nation by Augustan law.

-The city-state of Mount Augusta, with mutually agreed borders, will be recognised as a sovereign, independent nation by Loveshackian decree.

-Loveshack will end their declaration of war with Little Vanier immediately upon signing the treaty and dismantle all offensive forces and tools against Vanier.

-Both nations will be prohibited from claiming any future territories from each other.

Minor Points that are up for discussion:

-Loveshack will enjoy a privilege of one single vote in all Augustan votes to express interests in matters concerning both nations.

-Mt Augusta's Mayor or leader equivalent will automatically be granted a position in the Loveshackian court as official ambassador and adviser to the Loveshackian crown on matters concerning both nations.

-Snitch systems, security, policing and internal military matters will be shared among both nations, or at least will enjoy a level of high co-ordination. Extradition clauses for criminals could be included.

-Law-abiding citizens of both nations will enjoy free travel between and within both nations.

-The territories on which the Loveshackian embassy to Mt Augusta, the former Orion embassy to Mt Augusta, and the Mt Augustan embassy to Loveshack, will become sovereign territories of their respective nations.

-Both nations will enjoy free trade with each other, prohibiting any taxes or embargoes on each others' goods.
