So I've been working behind the scenes trying to solve this trading company business, and I believe I've come to a conclusion the majority of you will be happy with!

The part of the Trading Company that is within 20 blocks of the portal will be demolished. The demolition will be overseen by me personally so that everything is done up to code. All of this has been 100% agreed upon by ShadedJon.

The rest of the building will be mostly converted into apartments for new arrivals to Augusta, featuring reinforced beds, chests, paintings, greenery, furnaces, and crafting tables, among other comforts. They will serve to continue to make Augusta a friendly place to all people.

This whole matter has shown that as far as property is concerned, the Constitution simply needs more clarification on several issues. I would like to thank QTR for the awesome amount of time and effort he put forth to present his arguments in his recent post and research of the constitution. He is someone who truly cares about making Augusta a better place, and whether you agree with him about political issues 100% of the time or not, I hope you give him a virtual high five or hug next time you see him in game.

We worked hard to reach this diplomatic solution that involves no bloodshed and no griefing. We hope everyone finds it acceptable.
