I'm re-watching the series with someone who hasn't seen it before and last night i saw a scene where Elliot is going through withdrawals in a motel while he hallucinates being taken to a heroin den. Well during all this he and Angela are talking to each other and she tells him he's not the real Elliot and that he's and then cuts to black. Is that some great foreshadowing on Sam Esmail's part or is that meant to be something else? Just curious because i vaguely remember someone mentioning Elliot has only been around for a month in the past few episodes.
