I’m assuming the actual hack itself was successful, Darlene made a sysadmin backdoor to the server.

But Janice seems like she’s asking Dom to fetch Elliot and Darlene. Surely it will/has gotten back to Whiterose that there was an attack on Virtual Realty. I can’t imagine her not knowing the servers have been potentially compromised. Yet another door has closed.

Taking down Whiterose seems to be more impossible after each episode. Freddie was a dead end (kind of), Olivia hack didn’t get them much further, and now it seems highly likely Whiterose knows about the Virtual Realty hack.

It could be that red light camera picture of Darlene & Elliot hasn’t been seen by anyone who recognised them, but that would mean Dark Army have some pretty bad internal communications problem haha! Maybe the information hasn’t spread as fast as usual because it’s Christmas Day.

So my point really is that even though there have been some amazing overcoming of circumstances it doesn’t feel like we’re any closer to seeing Elliot successfully draining Deus Groups funds.

My conclusion is that things might have to get violent in order to take down the Deus Group, or at least a particular member. I’m sceptical even if you drained their funds that it would stop them.

I’m going to post some predictions in the next couple of days, I think I did quite good for last episode. Still waiting to see on Vera though. We’ll definitely see Elliot meet Whiterose in person at some point, from what I’ve seen, though there’s no evidence of hostility. There’s a nice motivational poster on the wall saying “When a door closes a window opens”. Maybe all these doors closing on Elliot will force him to choose the window.
