So I have had this weird idea where I have this haggard old wizard offer the party a quest to get something out of a well from his old friend. But it requires them to go through an underwater creature who is sitting on top of the storage door at the bottom of the well. They have to convince the creature to let them pass to get to the treasure room and when they get inside they find out that the creature was actually his friend insert name here. And they find out that he ate the ring and that the message from below explains that the real quest giver is the culprit who did it to him and they have to get him to remove the spell on him so he can go back to being a human but the spell is only able to removed while he is underwater at the bottom of the well. And when they finally get back to the mischievous quest giver the find a random rabbit looking super adorable sitting on a box left for them specifically. And when they reach out to grab it the box explodes in their face and A piece of paper flutters down in front of them that says

"all bunnies are evil" - B.R.B.
