I know I'm not the first one to say this, but I find it very ironic that his videos now that cost millions of dollars just to make, feel very stale and dull to me, and I honesty don't know why. So, what happened? Before, when MrBeast uploaded a new video, it felt like an event, I would watch certain videos multiple times; but now, every time MrBeast uploads a new video, I either watch a minute of it and never watch it again, or I never watch it. That being said, the videos themselves are very well made and I do admire the hard work that goes into making MrBeast videos.; but maybe MrBeast videos are little TOO well-made now. Does anyone else think the videos feel like a chore to get through? Half of the videos they do now are "Cheap thing vs Expensive thing", that's stuff BuzzFeed did back in the day.

Think back to when MrBeast first got popular, what was popular on YouTube back then? "Surprising my Best Friend with a Tesla on his birthday", "I spent $300,000 on a Pokemon card", "Moving Into Our $20,000,000 Hollywood Mansion Tour". Considering the vast majority YouTubers that were popular back then were constantly showing off how much money they have/make off of videos; so, when MrBeast first got popular, a guy who got popular by giving away expensive stuff felt like a breath of fresh air. In fact, MrBeast videos now are Jimmy and the gang showing how much money they have and all the stuff they use their money for.

How did this happen? Why am I so bored watching MrBeast now?

Did he peak with the Squid Game video? Was it because the videos became more child friendly when Karl joined? Did I age out of watching MrBeast videos? Or is it something else?

When I asked this same question in a comment on another post, someone replied saying that it might be because a lot of people miss the old crew (Let's call it the pre-Karl era). I personally agree. Don't get me wrong, Karl, Nolan, and Tareq are fine; but the pre-Karl era felt like a group of friends hanging out and doing ridiculous stuff, regardless if it cost a lot of money.

What do you guys think? Are MrBeast videos now dull and stale to you guys?
