Rent or buy? (Car)

Hey, Iām planning on moving to LA at the end of the year & I was planning on driving. I was planning to buy a new car to drive there with all my stuff but I got curious, should I buy a car before I travel? Or should I just use a rental & buy the car when I get there?
I plan on Doing delivery with my car as a main way of income so I would need my own car asap as soon as I get to LA & I wanted opinions.
