hello, ive been a longtime lurker but i am finally moving! based off this sub it seems like playa vista is a safe and easy going area but i just wanted to make sure there's nothing im missing. im mid 20's F and fairly introverted. does the school nearby make this area "college townish"?
my work is only a few miles away and this location is somewhat close to a few stores, restaurants, and a gym that would be perfect for me. also close enough to the beach. any comments are appreciated, thanks!
The 2nd photo is just zoomed out more:)
I used to work in an office right across from the Runway Plaza. So of course I hung out after work, did grocery shopping, took my dog to the dog park, saw my eye doctor, went to events, etc. all right there.
It’s meant to be this little utopia that the residents never have to leave. It’s very clean and extremely expensive, with a lot of convenient offerings. If you’re ok with the slightly creepy pristine-ness and the absence of any rich, historical culture, it’s not bad.
