Relocating to Brisbane
Hey :)
Currently staying in Woolloongabba and I’m not sure it’s for me, I was going to be in south bank/ west side, but thought there would be no real difference. All good, it’s temporary.
I’ve just arrived and I’m looking for options to live, it’s just me (m40). There’s no friend circle here and I’m looking for a 1-2 bedroom apartment with a good bit of everything, I’m keen for a beer in a nicer area not needing to yell to chat, preferably a good butcher and street grocer/ veg shop, a gym with jujitsu and sauna (might be tough) and friendly people for easy to drinks nights.
I’ve been recommended south bank/ west side - not sure if they are really the same, new farm, and toowong. I don’t want to be in Toowong as it’s close to work and seems a hilly landscape (I’ve just come from that)
I’d like to be ‘city’ based for the social and living of it, I’ve been very remote to the city and state, so starting from scratch.
Any advice?
I’ll do some exploring over the next week, though would like a rental before Christmas.
Cheers
