I find the 50’s style submissive housewife/male breadwinner dynamic really cute and romantic. I get why it’s less common these days because it’s problematic and definitely has a lot of historical baggage, but the heart wants what it wants and I find that shit super cute.

Any really good movies that heavily feature this? I don’t really care about the genre or setting, as long as the couple has good chemistry and genuinely love each other.

Edit: I don’t mean the movie has to actually be set in the 50’s. Just as long as the couple has the 50’s style relationship
