I'm looking for something like Berserk honestly, something dark with an interesting world... what's inspiring me to write this post is actually this "Minecraft but you're 10 again" series on youtube, but hear me out though lol:

Each of these clearly illustrates a sort of mysterious world with dark elements but also drives home a sense of wonder in my eyes.

Obviously there is a story that needs to be told but would I highly appreciate a narrative that takes the liberty to kill off a main character in an organic fashion, not at all forcing it.

Mandy with Nic cage had this metal energy and atmosphere, with this resolute main character, kind of like a Joseph Campbell Heroes journey sort of deal with the character marching into the unknown or toward their enemy.

I'm having a hard time really articulating exactly what I'm looking for honestly (but I've really got this itch to scratch), hopefully someone catches my drift though.
