Movies with batshit insane acting

Performances that are extremely crazy/hammy/generally over the top, bonus points if the rest of the cast is generally grounded.
The two perfect examples of what I'm looking for are Crispin Glover in River's Edge and Nicolas Cage in Vampire's Kiss
I've seen almost every Nic Cage movie so I'd prefer suggestions for other actors.
