My wife and I were looking for something to watch tonight like that. We tend to like films that have intriguing ideas and mess with your perception of the world or safety and esp if it can be allegorical to some real life fear than just visceral or supernatural horror. And usually something audiences tend to like, not just critics.
My favorite horror/thriller Films/TV recently were: It Follows, US, Get Out, The Haunting of Hill House, The Invisible Man, Don't Breathe, Split.
Any suggestions (and preferably something from the 2010s)?
Thanks!
