Wikipedia calls it a psychological thriller/horror film, IMDb a drama, fantasy, mystery, it's more on the psychological thriller side of things with less emphasis on building too much tension.
Never really seen this recommended or talked about anywhere, can't even remember where I heard it from but just found it in my list of movies to watch.
It's very well put together, great acting, no real over the top manufactured tension, but a nicely structured and interesting story.
Also, try to pick which character Daniel Craig plays, I didn't even know he was in the movie until I saw him listed on the IMDb cast, though it will probably be easy to spot it now that I've mentioned it.
