I’ve seen a ton of movies, so I’m looking for the obscurely brilliant. Recent searches have been: “The Wave” (2019) with Justin Long, “Parallel” (2018), “Project Almanac” (2015), “Frequencies” (2013), “Chronicle” (2012), “Jumper” (2008), “The Man From Earth” (2007), “Coherence” (2013), “Waking Life” (2001), “A Scanner Darkly” (2006), “Predestination” (2014), “In the Shadow of the Moon” (2019), I really could go on.
When I tell you that I have seen a lot of movies, I assure you I’ve seen more than my fair share. If what you may suggest is considered mainstream, there is a strong chance I’ve seen it. I’m a fan of ALL categories of movies, but prefer western, and romantics the least. I overwhelmingly prefer anything that will make me think, whether that be in the way of a mind bending new (to me) concept, a captivating mystery, or sci-fi that visually kills. I love the trippy, and if you can come up with a horror movie that I haven’t seen, kudos to you.
Get ready to dig deep kiddos. 😉
