I just finished One Piece (anime) after 4 months. What should I watch now?

Post Body

1100 episodes of one anime. I wanted to catch up to have something to talk about with a mate. Now that I’ve done that, I actually feel liberated. Like I’ve completed a task I’ve been procrastinating from.

Anyway, I kinda want to start watching Shogun but I wouldn’t mind watching a movie rather than a series. I’ve no particular genre in mind; just feel like watching a movie rather than a series. What should I put on the old telly?

EDIT: I know that One Piece’s theme is for younger viewers especially if you grew up watching it. There are some parts of the show that people found lifelong valuable which is valid and I totally understand/ acknowledge it!

EDIT 2: Somebody is downvoting everybody’s comments even though it’s all been great chat between us. I’m trying to give upvotes everywhere I can to even out!

Mate those first two suggestions triggered some core memories. Have you seen

Dragon Tiger Gate (2006)

Invincible Shaolin (1978)

If you haven’t you should check them out! Thanks for the suggestions

Just read a bit on the Wicked City because it stuck out being 1987. It sounds like such a cool story. Will have to check these out so thank you!

Can’t go wrong with a James McAvoy flick! Thank you for the suggestions!
