The opening scene of 'Chasing Amy' (1997) takes place at a convention sponsored by Flanagan Events. Walter Flanagan played Woolen Cap Smoker, Egg Man, and Offended Customer in 'Clerks'. He was also Fanboy in 'Mallrats' and 'Chasing Amy', and went on to play many more roles in Kevin Smith movies.
