This is kind of a follow up post from my post yesterday.
I spent all day switching back and forth between the GPX Superlight and Model O Wireless. Overall, its hard to say which one I drastically like more. There's almost an equal amount of things that I like and dislike about both of them to be honest.
I'd say the more I switched between the two, the more I thought the Model O Wireless was actually more comfortable than the GPX Superlight. However, the thing that annoyed me the most about the Model O Wireless was how much the bottom of my palm touched the mousepad. I'm not sure if it's cause of the MOW's smaller hump, flatter rear, or potentially both. But either way the amount that my back palm dragged against the mousepad was the most annoying part of using the MOW. While using the GPX, I could hold the mouse pretty decently, and since I'm used to it it wasn't too uncomfy. Yet I still felt it was a tad bit uncomfortable compared to the MOW. When using the GPX, only really the slightest part of the bottom-right portion of my hand touches the mousepad which is not nearly as annoying for as my entire bottom palm/hand when using the MOW. Like I said I'm not sure if its the smaller hump or flatter rear but yeah that was the main difference I noticed between the two.
I've been looking at plenty of mice the past couple days and have recently bought an MM720 but I'm still looking for something wireless to try to get closer to my endgame mouse. I've been looking into the Razer Viper V2, Katana Superlight, and even the Pulsefire Haste but I'm open to suggestions to other wireless mice within the lightweight range. For the Razer Viper V2, I was originally interested in it due to a lot of my friends giving it praise, however I've heard a lot of people say its very similarly shaped to the MOW. If its almost exactly the same shape then I'll probably cross that out however if it has even just a slightly bigger hump/rear than the MOW I wouldn't mind trying it cause I really feel like the flat rear on the MOW is the only thing holding it back for me. I'm considering the Katana Superlight mainly just cause its labeled as a bigger GPX Superlight, so I'm hoping that maybe that'll make it a bit more comfortable for me. When it comes to the Haste I pretty much just have it on my list due to people recommending it, I'm not really sure how the mouse is shaped or compared to but if my other options don't hold up I'll try that as a last resort of sorts.
But yea that's pretty much it, if you have any thoughts, advice, or recommendations on which wireless mice I should look into based on my likes/dislikes of the GPX and MOW then that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help!
Edit: Just realized another small factor that would be nice to consider but definitely not a necessity. I live in a very humid area and naturally sweat quite a bit. So if you would like to factor that for recommendations then feel free to do so. Or in general if you have any advice on what textures/finishes are best for humid areas and sweaty hands then that would be greatly appreciated as well.
