Glorious Model O is pinching my ring finger in claw and semi-palm, help?

I'm trying to upgrade from a beat up G203 and I just got the Glorious Model O, but something I didn't account for is that the G203's left and right buttons are quite a bit narrower than the O's and are split vertically, whereas the O's buttons have a horizontal gap that pinches my ring finger constantly if I'm not holding it with a fingertip grip or a weird far back claw, both of which are wildly uncomfortable as I prefer a pretty meaty claw on the edge of a palm grip. I have 19x11-ish hands, anyone have recommendations for a mouse in a similar price range that has narrower buttons or is just taller to prevent this?
