I am new to this and looking for advice from someone with more experience with this than me. I recently got a Logitech G903 that I would like to change the switches on to hopefully reduce the chances of the known double-clicking issue but mainly because I don’t like the way the clicks feel stock.
I play a lot of PC games that require rapid spam clicks (and I mean a lot). So, I need something easy to click, but I also want it to feel like a click without being extremely loud.
Does such a switch exist? For reference, the stock switches in the G903 are way too light for me. Like when I click there isn’t enough resistance so it isn’t satisfying.
Originally I was going to go with Kailh mx 4.0 but after some more research I read that the 8.0s are easier to click and a little less loud. Not sure about the 2.0s?
Or should I go with a different brand altogether? I like the feedback of the Kailh 8.0s from what I’ve seen on videos, but I am scared they will be too hard to spam click after some time and I will end up regretting it.
(Also if you know anyone or a reputable service that can solder the switches for me and also change the feet would be super helpful)
Thanks!
