Thanksgiving Climbs in the US

One of my buddies is prevented from leaving the US due to his visa status (needs to wait another 6 months before he can leave the country), so we were thinking about doing some climbing over the Thanksgiving holiday.
Realize the timing is pretty suboptimal for the US, but looking for options / suggestions.
We're both moderately experienced climbers (experience with crampons, glacier travel, rope technique etc. but we're not about to tackle K2)
