Grivel Rambo 4

Hi, Im new to the sport of mountaineering and stepping up my game. Mountaineering boots had a pretty respectable sale so i dived deep and bought boots and crampons for my upcoming climb of mount athabaska. although this mountain isn't particularly tough there is still glaciers at the top i intend to push myself to harder mountains considering the investment i just made.

That being said im uncertian of my purchase on the Grivel Rambo 4. my initial intention was to buy the Petzl Vasak, but unfurtunatly they were sold out after i placed my online order. Being a step-in boot i wanted to take advantage and get a step in crampon. Unfortunatly, my local shops only had the Black Diamond Stinger, the Grivel Rambo 4, and the Camp Blade Runners for step in options and not comfortable waiting for an online shipment since my trip is scheduled in 6 days.

I settled on these for their price; however in my mind i did not plan for these, i dont know much about them, and honestly they look completly different from everything else on the market (adjusters and locking system isnt the same as competitors).

So i figured id reach out to yall. Did i make a safe purchase? will they be good for my use? is there room for me to grow techincally with these? are they so techincal a novice shouldnt use? and whats with that metal boot cover kinda annoying it doesnt stay at the tow when the crampon is off, in my mind i wanted something that wraps the calves to keep cordage at a minimum, but is this system just as good? Also kinda suck there wasnt a carrying bag in the box, these spikes are sharp.

If you think i made a shopping mistake, i can still return and find something else; but if these are good i'd really appreciate any community reasurance in my purchase. Thank you in advance.
