Hello,
6 days ago went on a mountain objective for a day trip where we encountered more snow than expected. I did not have pants or gaiters which I normally bring so I was just in shorts and my mtn boots. Because of the postholing, my feet/boots were n the snow for most of the day and quite cold obviously (6 hours).
On the way back down my feet started to go numb and tingly but were not painful, and moving fine etc.
When I got back to trailhead and took off my boots my feet were still numb and tingly but no discoloration, no blistering at all and I could move no problem etc but they were numb and tingly pins and needles.
Even after baths, and all week they are still exactly the same. Nothing has changed. No signs of discoloration, movement is fine, no blistering, etc But the numbness and tingling has not gone away. It’s like I have numb feet 6 days later.
I haven’t seen a doctor as I guess I thought this may just go away.
Thoughts? Have you experienced this? Wondering what a doctor would tell me at this point.
Thanks in advance!
