Nausea help

Any tips on how to avoid the unbearable nausea from this medicine? It doesn’t happen every time and I don’t know what causes it. I’m back down to 2.5mg after being on 15mg and getting so sick back in December. I’ve been off it since and taking my first dose tomorrow. I have a 42g protein shake but I’m not sure that’s enough. Please help! This medicine does so well for my T2 diabetes but the nausea is unbearable and takes me out of life for at least a whole day. Thank you!!
