I'm on week 3 of 5mg (non T2D) - and I had to call my CVS about an RX for my adult (disabled) daughter. I mentioned to the technician - "hey - I expect I'll be getting a new script for Mounjaro 7.5 next week - I wonder if that helps you for ordering it?" He was quiet for a moment - and I said "I know I know - it's in high demand".... But he was fine. He said "no no- I'm looking in the frig. I'll place an order - so the system will automatically try to order it every night and hopefully we'll have it by the time you need it."
It's hopeful - but NOT for sure that the (old) coupon will continue to work - nor that it'll be in stock in time. But I thought it was a reasonable response by a pharmacy. I'm hearing a lot of bad bad and upsetting reports of pharmacists being rude and unhelpful. Also - that 7.5 is ungettable.
I'll keep everyone posted! Fingers crossed!
(ps. I live in Philly)
