Why don’t factory riders ride an older model year of their bike
Post Body

We see it all the time where top riders hate the new gen bike that comes out. Why don’t they just run the previous gen that they liked? I saw an interview with McGrath recently where he mentioned in the early to mid 90s he raced his favorite year cr250 (can’t remember the year) for multiple seasons because he didn’t like the new gen that came out. Why don’t Webb, ferrandis etc do the same? Only thing I can think of is because it’s a bad look for the oem?
