RMA'd MXP, having same problems. Am I fucked?
Post Body

Early in January my Moto X Pure's screen suspiciously "broke" out of nowhere. One night the screen just bugged and started giving me problems like this and this (if you can't tell, the screen became super magnified for some reason, in the second album). So I called Motorola and got an RMA for it.

Fast forward to today when I finally got my phone back, after dealing with Motorola's support for weeks. Sure enough, after having the phone for less than 12 hours, the screen bugged out again, this time giving me this weird grey-barred screen. Great.

Here's the mystery - rebooting the phone temporarily "fixes" the screen, where it will function normally for some amount of time (shortest I've experienced was an hour before bugging out again, longest was about a day). What could cause this? My phone has been wiped a couple times so I don't think software is an issue.

Am I just fucked? If I send my phone in, it'll be another month using the ancient blackberry I have, I can't return it, and I can't sell it (I'm a college student and I don't have the funds to purchase another phone). However, I don't really want to resign to just using a broken piece of technology that I paid full price for a couple months ago.

Edit: I should add that I don't think Motorola support actually did anything to my phone, at all - the receipt said "external button repair", however, there were no problems with the buttons before I sent it in, so fuck if I know.
