Does the Moto G Stylus have decent drawing quality as far as phones go?

My nibbling does amazing art on their phone with just their finger. For their birthday I'm conspiring with their mom to get them a better phone to do their art on. Right now they are using like an iphone4 or something similarly outdated. Would the Moto G Stylus be a good fit for them? Or should I look at other options. They draw with their finger but I'm hoping that a stylus phone will help prep them for a drawing tablet to connect to their computer.
