Sorry for the flair, I'm not sure what generation my phone is. It's a Moto G Stylus 5G.

I have a workout app on my phone called FightCamp. I cast the workout videos to my Roku tv using Chromecast. The videos keep lagging/pixelating and eventually the video randomly pauses on my phone, and when I hit play, the sound returns but the picture stays frozen only on the tv (it will still play on my phone). I have to stop casting and then restart to get it to work again.

The lagging/pixelating will also happen on my phone screen, but only while casting. Once the picture either freezes on the tv (with sound still playing) or I turn casting off, the video on my phone is 100% fine.

I didn't used to have this problem with my old Android LG phone. As soon as I got this one, I started having these problems. Does anyone know if there are any type of settings or anything that I can try to fix this? It is incredibly frustrating!

FWIW, I have really good internet and wifi. We do have wifi boosters, but not in the room I use this. I bought a new Chromecast with google TV just to make sure it wasn't that.
