I have a G3 (SKU XT1540, I'm still stuck on 6.0 and the Dec/15 security update because updates are not available for my phone)

For the past few months it has been consistently dropping permissions that I have set. In FB messenger i'll have to renable chat heads and in game i play i'll have to disable notifications again. So my user impact is low, but it is really annoying nonetheless.

I've done some googling on the issue but I have not found any solutions or even many other people besides HTC users who have had a similar issue (and no solutions). So either my problem is unique or I wasn't searching the right terms.

Any help would be appreciated. I have not reset my phone, or factory reset it yet. I'm hoping for a non-nuclear option if at all possible.
