My (M39) wife’s (F37) parents (F61, M61) are traveling 1k miles to visit us and are staying in our guest room for the next 3 weeks. This will be the longest we’ve stayed together, except for 3 months we lived together when I was moving for a job.

My MIL and I have had tons of moments where she’s noticed me checking her out, or where she’s “accidentally” bent over in a short skirt or low cut top. Despite all of the very obvious situations over the 20 years I’ve known her, she’s always very friendly, offers tight full body hugs, and continues to walk around braless in her thin PJs most mornings. If we take a pic together, she’ll snuggle in close to my body and put her hand on my chest. Basically, she doesn’t take steps to distance herself from me or avoid contact. Once she even asked me to bring her panties to the shower!

I think she really likes the subtle teasing and undercurrent in our relationship. However, whenever I try texting her to start a normal conversation, her responses are kind, but never progress into a full conversation with banter or regularity. I truly believe she knows it’s a very slippery slope if we start texting. In fact, I think she specifically doesn’t tell my wife that I’ve texted her at all. I’ll hear my wife relating that I was traveling for work to X place and her mom doesn’t respond with any knowledge about my travel, even if I previously texted my MIL about the trip. My wife never says “My mom mentioned that cool museum you sent her” etc either, so I really think my MIL keeps it hidden.

Although I wish my MIL would text more, it’s definitely hot to realize she clearly enjoys our special moments so much that she sees the need to avoid sexting temptations.

I can’t wait to see what happens over the next 3 weeks. I really hope we take some walks together and have time for private selfies where we both get much closer than needed. Often times we’re alone on the couch together watching tv at night too. She often leaves her panties in plain view in her room and I’ve always wondered if that was her invitation to borrow them 😊
