Here are my two cents based off of what I have heard from local/friends near the case. Maddie’s ex was blatantly cleared. He was in DT Boise, photos and what not to prove it. I am also getting information that Maddie and her ex were “broken up” but that happens constantly in college. I do also know that she attempted to make contact with “the ex”numerous times that night, and would be curious to know what time that was at.

The individual rumored to be a POI, in my mind, looks similar to the individual getting food with the girls.

If MPD is open to releasing cause of death, and the murder weapon they are seeking… it leads me to believe they have a good idea of who committed this heinous crime and just need to tie the weapon to the individual.

Where it could get messy… this is a busy area in Moscow. Only college kids, mostly Greek life students, live in that area. It is dark, very slim chance there is any surveillance. Also rumored there was a party at the house the night before. Anyone that has been to frat/sorority off campus parties knows it’s a fucking mess… likely DNA absolutely everywhere in that house, making it incredibly hard to pin anything on anyone. Hence, murder weapon will be the most important thing the police need to make a conviction.
