When do I start speaking to advisors?

Post Body

I am currently paying off my debts. A loan and a credit card that will be cleared in the next 12 months. The majority of my disposable income is going on paying this debt off to make sure I can clear it as fast as I can

Once thatโ€™s paid off I can put away a substantial amount towards a deposit every month and I would have a healthy deposit after a year of saving

My credit score with Experian is now in the top band it can be. I would be buying on my own with a salary of 55k

When should I start reaching out to mortgage advisors? Is that even my first step? Is there anything else I need to be doing or considering?
