End my fix now, wait, or wait till the fix ends?

Post Body

I purchased my first home last month on a 2 year fix at 6.58% with a 90% LTV. It has a 1% ERC.

Given that interest rates on products are falling this year I’m trying to work out when to potentially remortgage before my fix ends in December 2025, as interest rates on products may fall further after I was to say, remortgage now. I’ve worked out through calculations I’d save money over the next 2 years by remortgaging now from the high interest rate I’m currently on but I’m wondering if anyone has any insight as to if rates will continue to drop throughout this year and into next, there doesn’t seem to be a “right time” to do it.
