Lately, I have been reading complaints about the speed of moderation (all fair) -- sometimes I don't see things, and they stay up longer than they should, even really blatant stuff sometimes.

I keep moderation very light touch here, but maybe a little bit more could be done to keep the experience more pleasant and usable day-to-day.

Since this is a community subreddit, if you guys do want extra moderation, I will post and sticky a thread, where users will be allowed to nominate someone from the community, and then we will hold a vote on the nominations.

This way we have community representation and that would possibly prevent mod abuse and perceptions of bias. As always, I am also open to any and all suggestions.
