First off, gonna say like most people I grew up with MK. Not the biggest fan but it was always there in my gaming journey. Fast forward to X. That's when I actually started learning fighting games. Found my style. Took more interest in the series. Yea I played 9 but still played it like I did Deception. For the fun brain dead violence.

11 kinda made me disinterested in the series. Not the story. It was ok but the gameplay very forced to make you play a certain way due to KBs and less depth in gameplay in general. I was unsure about 1 too. Sure I was excited for it especially when Havik was revealed but that trauma got me. Well with Havik's arm beat downs and the gameplay being primo. Very glad they took this direction for the next game.
