Combos harder on ps5 controller

So recently I installed mk11 instead on playing it over cloud gaming and bought a ps5 controller because I had a really cheap Xbox controller. And now that I’m playing with the ps5 controller, I am dropping every single combo that I picked up while learning on this game and it’s kind of demoralizing. Is this a thing that is supposed to be happening? Is the ps5 controller a bad controller to play mk11?
