A question for those more knowledgeable than I

Would it be feasible to use something like battle walkers on a very small scale as a nomadic siege camp? Small enough to not be noticed by predator cities, but large enough to hijack traction towns for control over resources? I ask because I’ve been 3D modeling some for the occasion before realizing I didn’t actually know if bipedal walkers were used or able to be used..
