How does "D.R.I.P. (Dynamic Randomised Item Properties) affects game balance?

Post Body

Heya! I've been rolling a bosmer thief for a while already, whit only a few mods that could be called "balance breaking" (faster movement, "unlimited recall/marks", I don't have as much time to walk around anymore). I'm around level 50, and I have already plundered all the house vaults, several daedric shrines and the likes (So I'm using daedric weapons, sporting an almost a complete set of glass armor and the boots of blinding speed, which honestly I try to not abuse, and have already found some constant effect items).

The thing is that I've become a bit bored of the (small) set of generic magic items (I've found enough "Dwemer Jinxblades" to start a shop), and I've seen that D.R.I.P., seems to add some variety on this aspect, but I'm somewhat worried that it could add over the top items (I've seen some combinations of constant effects that feels a bit overpowered) that could make things even more easy. If I can get to try funky effects and minor improvements, I'm all in, though.

So, how does the mod blends with the game? Will I notice a real change in challenge against random enemies or even the big bosses if I get lucky, or it will add similar (random) items to what is already there?
