In a competitive match Morde ult is way stronger than it appears to be. Besides the obvious "I remove your carry from the fight" or the "supreme peel" he makes very hard for the enemy team to do Baron. If his team is contesting the Baron they can just wait for it to get low enough, Morde goes in, sends the enemy jungler to the death realm and his jungler gets the steal, also, he can make it almost impossible for the enemy jungler to steal Baron if morde team is doing it.

With this in mind, if Morde numbers are decent he is loking like a 100% pick or ban in competitive which will result in many nerfs to the point where he is almost unplayable in soloq
