deleting comments to avoid accountability? yikes

Post Body

I commented on the last Morbid instagram post asking them to stop using AAVE in their podcast, and after getting 40 likes on the comment & important discussion in the replies, the comment was deleted. I also noticed many of the comments asking about the patreon details were deleted too. Is this as disgusting to others as much as it is to me? These are two white women who would rather delete comments asking for accountability than actually change the way they act/speak/appropriate. I have been still listening to their podcast with a critical lens for the past few months, but I think this has finally sent me into no longer listening. I can not longer support two white women appropriating Black language, bootlicking, doing shotty research (looking at you Ash πŸ‘€), and spreading misinformation/incorrect facts. Anyone got any recommendations for other true crime podcasts that don’t love cops & actually listen to their audience?
