I have a PC running Sunshine and a Shield TV running Moonlight in the same Room. Due to its layout, the PC is too far away to connect it to my TV via copper HDMI and my last fibreoptic cable (35€ for 10m, maybe this is the reason) suddenly died for unknown reasons - thats why I decieded to try streaming. My IP Router is located in another room and it is impossible to connect any of both mentioned devices via LAN cable to the router. Everything is connected to my LAN network using WIFI. I can very well stream 4k@60Hz games to my ShieldTV. But for some reason, sometimes/mostly in the evening the streaming performance tanks and I receive warnings to lower bitrate on Moonlight on my ShieldTV. I hate how unreliable this is, so streaming on WIFI is not working for me.
Question is: Can I connect my PC via LAN directly to my ShieldTV? And do I need to change any setting on Moonlight/Sunshine to use it that way? Before I go buy a 10m LAN cable I'd like to check if this is even possible (and/or worth it?).
Thank you!
