For MoonCats who were Acclimated to their digital homes and in the official wrapper prior to September 6 2021 at 12:01am UTC, your MoonCats can claim lootprints (for MoonCats) for FREE – just pay gas.

For MoonCats chilling out in the wild (unwrapped) or trapped in the old unofficial wrapper, to claim your lootprints (for MoonCats), you’ll need to first join over 16 500 MoonCats in the official wrapper: https://mooncat.community/acclimator then head over to lootprints (for MoonCats) to see the cost to mint.

Don't catnap on this claim! The early cat catches the mouse and prices will rise in the coming days. Then, on October 24th, any remaining unclaimed lootprints (for MoonCats) will drift off into the ether, never to be seen again.

Once you mint your lootprint, you will have to wait a bit for it's details to be revealed. This is so you have something extra to look forward to!
...and also to ensure the trait distributions can't be gamed ;)

“But wait, there’s only 25 440 MoonCats, how can there be 25 600 lootprints (for MoonCats)?!?”

Excellent question.  As some early adopters may know, 160 Genesis MoonCats took the path of the heroes, and elected to stay behind on the moon to help rebuild the MoonCat society.  As these 160 MoonCatShips don’t have a MoonCat tied to them, they will be a unique Hero Silver, and will not be available to mint. Instead, auctions for the first batch of lootprints (for MoonCats) in Hero Silver have begun and are closing in less than three days. See what we did there? <3?
