I have a baby boy, and my schedule is changing where I will be able to spend almost all morning and afternoon with him. With my spouse taking over at night. I want to start a routine with him during the week that will help his development. We normally take him outside daily for 5-10 minutes but I want to start taking him out more regularly. Weekly we make a trip to a garden, park, or library. But I feel I could be doing more. Of course, he can't spend all day held or in a stroller, so tummy time and reading. But what should I be doing to encourage my child's development?
I have most of his toys in baskets at my level, with the ones he plays with accessible around his room. I don't have a 100% babyproofed area, so he still sleeps in a Crib, but he naps on a floor bed and I find him rolling around his room.
Any good resources? Schedules? Activities I should be doing? Homeschooling orientated would be nice.
