I'm a single, 35 year old gay male looking to move to the Monterey/Santa Cruz area next year. I'd like to connect with other LGBTQ folks, or anyone with similar interests really, to lessen moving to a new community with no friends. I'm currently in Portland and have been visited Monterey county a few times now to familiarize myself with the culture. I like hiking, cycling, music (from first wave black metal to big band and jazz), movies (mostly dry comedies and documentaries). I work in the service industry here but am looking to go back to school for a radiology tech degree. I've been in the PNW for a decade and the Monterey Bay is the exact community I'd like to walk away from Portland to live in.
