Need recommendation for dinner tonight (9/20) around Monterey / Carmel

Hey all -- been coming to Monterey / Carmel area for decades but always with my family so we end up at family friendly places.
I happen to be by myself this time around so trying to figure out what locals have to recommend. Last times I was here by myself I stuck with the usual classics == Sardine Factory & Whaling Station.
Anything else you can recommend? I love fresh and local seafood, meat lover, tasting menus. Bonus points if I can sit at the bar.
