Recent info on beach fire rules?
Post Body

My family really wants to burn a Yule log on the beach this year, and I’m trying to figure out which is the best location to go to.

Some old posts say that the Pebble Beach side of Asilomar is fine for fires. 1) Anyone know if that’s still true? 2) Can you do a fire on any beach in Pebble Beach, or just Asilomar?

Monterey city website says there are 3 fire rings right next to the wharf. I’ve been to that beach a few times and never noticed fire rings. Anyone know if they are there?

Also, I noticed burnt wood on Del Monte Beach just this morning. Is this a rule that isn’t really enforced??? In any case, I plan to keep it legal.

Thanks in advance for any help!
