So obviously the fan base has been blowing up with speculation about the new monkey, with some expressing disappointment that it seems like this film will just be a rehash of Godzilla vs Kong, with lanky monke being a stronger and more evil Kong.
For starts, we don't even know if this guy is evil yet. This could just be a deliberately misleading teaser to send fans down the wrong road. Hy And then there's this. This guys sources have so far been almost 100% spot on when it comes to leaks about movies coming out from Legendary, especially Monsterverse movies. And if his track record holds, Lanky Kong ain't the main antagonist of the movie. There's going to be something a lot worse.
