TL;DR: Want any general advice/tips as a first time MC from those who've been there and done that! ❤️

I've been playing various ttrpgs for a few years. I've always wanted to try my hand at DMing, but it's always felt very... Intimidating.

Then I stumbled upon MH2 and just had to buy it (full price so the artist can help for all those who need the discount ❤️ ) because who doesn't love monster teen angst, romance, and comedy??? Even better, this system doesn't scare me at the idea of running it.

I've got my setting. I've got at least 3 players (maybe 4 or 5). I even have a couple of potential side plots for the players to investigate as they keep it feral with their shenanigans!

But the question remains, as someone who hasn't run ANY campaign and only played, are there any little tidbits of advice out there for those who have been MCs already?
