This past week I've been helping at a program similar to a day camp in Cancun. I am in the elementary group, so the ages ranged from 5 to 11. When the kids get there they can go play board games in the back of the room while music is playing on the screen, then before the activities start for the day the director puts on a video that counts down from 5 minutes and shows action clips like snowboarding or massive dodgeball fights. However, I had to do a double take the first time it played because the backing track was none other than Supernova by Laszlo, which is one of my favorite songs on the label. I already try to dance randomly to the music to get kids hyped for the day, but every time Supernova came on I put a little more energy into it because it was so cool to see little kids jamming out to my favorite music.
